About This Project

This extensive transformation project started with a 1960’s split level home. The back of the house was extended out to make room for a 20X30ft gourmet kitchen/dining area. The ceilings were all raised to 9ft. when the second floor master suite, master bath and sitting room were added. A large covered porch and a second floor balcony was added to appreciate the view of Long Island Sound. Several roof line changes were done to blend the entire exterior together in order, to achieve that new house appearance. Special attention was put into the sweeping cedar shingle flares, wave-patterned gables and extensive lifetime azek trim work. This beautiful North Shore residence was also equipped with a fully automatic back-up generator system.
